The HumidX is a small heat and moisture exchanger (HMEs) designed to provide comfortable and effective humidification without water. When patients breathe, heat and moisture from every exhale is captured and stored within the HMEs tiny paper ridges before it reaches the masks vent. When they inhale, this heat and moisture is released to warm and comfortable air during the night. Currently, HumidX and HumidX Plus humidification systems are only compatible with AirFit N20 and AirFit P10 for AirMini travel machine.
